Founder Gordon Bice spent over a decade as an ASE Certified Master Technician working on cars before turning his focus to the marine world. Under the guidance of Garland at Paradise Point, Gordon learned the ins and outs of boat systems, repairs, and maintenance—gaining the hands-on experience that became the foundation of his craft.

With the encouragement and support of his wife Jackie and their two sons, Wesson and Hudson, Gordon took the leap and launched The Boat Guys in 2016. Since then, the business has grown on dedication, integrity, and family pride—the same values that continue to drive every service call and repair today.

With more than 25 years of fishing experience across the California Delta, San Francisco Bay, and the Pacific Ocean, Gordon brings a deep understanding of what boaters need to stay safe and confident on the water.
